If you already have an Orbi Pro router and satellite installed and are adding an additional Orbi Pro satellite (sold separately), do the following:

To Sync The Additional Orbi Pro Satellite:

  1. Place your satellite. 
  2. Connect the satellite to a power source.
  3. If the power indicator on the back of the satellite does not illuminate, press the power button.
  4. Wait about 2 minutes for the satellite’s ring light to turn solid white.
  5. Press the Sync button on the back of the satellite and within two minutes press the Sync button on the back of the router.

The satellite's ring LED blinks white, glows in one of the following colors for approximately three minutes, and then goes off:

  • Blue- The Orbi router and satellite have synced successfully and the connection between the router and satellite is good.
  • Amber- The Orbi router and the satellite have successfully synchronized and the connection between the router and the satellite is correct. Move the Orbi satellite nearby to the Orbi router.
  • Magenta- The router and the Orbi satellite are out of sync. Move the satellite closer to the router and try again.
